About Me!

I love taking photos!

I'm John Edwards. I live in Bradford, but can travel anywhere in West Yorkshire to take your photos. I bring a small portable studio to your home to take all the stress out of your portrait session.

I specialise in taking fun and relaxed family portraits. Since the birth of my son in July 2008 I have become adapt at taking portrait pictures of babies and toddlers! I'll work with you to deliver portraits of you and your family that you will treasure.

I'm also taking bookings for a limited number of weddings and am also offering event photography with onsite printing to help your party or event be remembered!

Pricing

Portrait sessions take between 1 and 2 hours and are done at your home or a nearby location to ensure that the experience is as fun as possible for you!

Your portrait session can be of any subject, although I specialise in Maternity, Babies, Kids and Families.

Your portrait session will include the following for the single £45 fee.

The portrait session itself. This is done in the comfort of your home at a time you chose. I use a portable studio to achieve the best lighting.
One 10″x8″ and two 7″x5″ high quality photo prints. All three prints are made from the same image, which you choose.
A web gallery of the best images from your portrait session where you can view and choose your favourite images for printing.
Additional prints (framed or loose), canvases, montages etc can be purchased. Any extra processing (Black & White, Sepia, minor blemish removal etc is provided, on request, free of charge on any items ordered). See the Print Prices below for costs.

Your baby will change so much over their first year. We offer two “first year” portrait packages to capture this amazing time in you and your child’s life. These help you capture their development as a lasting reminder of the joy and wonderment you will feel seeing your baby grow into a little person. Two packages are available. Newborn to 1st Birthday andMaternity to 1st Birthday.

Newborn to 1st Birthday – £199

Newborn portrait session (within first 2 weeks)
3 Month session
6 Month portrait session
12 Month portrait session

Maternity to 1st Birthday – £249

The Materntiy package covers the same as the Newborn but includes a full portrait session done with “The Bump” and family. This is normally done between weeks 36 to 39.

Both “First Year” packages include the following:

One free 10″x8″ print of your favourite image from each session.
Preview pictures can be put onto Facebook for you to share with friends and use as profile pictures.

Then at the end of the first year you can chose to have either

A full colour A4 hardback book featuring 20-30 pages of images and text covering the 1st year of your baby’s life. The design will agreed with you before it is printed. It can include any other photos you have and would like to use as well as any text you want to add.

Or

A special “Baby” album with thirty six 7″x5″ prints included (worth £288 if bought loose!) which you are free to choose at the end of the year.

To capture your special day we offer a simple 3 step Wedding Package selection.

This is based around the length of photographic coverage you want on your special day, with optional print packages which you can use to get reduced print costs.

All of the prints we sell are produced at a professional print lab. They are colour matched and carefully prepared by Love The Photos before being sent to the print lab where they are printed onto archival quality, lustre photo paper.

Lustre finish photo prints are resistant to finger marks, have a bright finish similar to gloss and can be framed directly behind glass (unlike gloss prints).

We don’t sell cheap inkjet prints on glossy paper which will quickly fade!
